Juniper CLD!!!!!

I recently just had my CL raised to 3k on my Juniper Visa and I logged in this morning to pay on my account and noticed the the CL was decreased to 1.2k.  I just got off the fone with a very unhelpful CSR who would not transfer me to a supervisor.  I understand the concept of a CLD if somebody isn't using their full line of credit as it being a liability, but I use most of the 3k every month and pay it in full (often four payments a month).  I'm livid and trying not to be impulsive and just close out the account.

I am sorry to hear that this happened to you.

It may have NOTHING to do with you though.  If you live in a county that has a higher number of foreclosures then they can CLD you just  for that alone. GEMB and AX both started to do that.

They can also CLD you for your type of mortgage if if is subprime. Again, many are doing that too.

They can CLD you if your line of work is NOT recession proof.

The list goes on and on. DO NOT take it personally.

The second CRS I spoke to about it stated that a ton of customers got CLDs for the new year, probably to make their books look better.  She told me since I had an unsecured loan with them (the credit card) that they were adjusting to make it better suite my needs???  I told her this was ridiculous and I would just call a credit analyst on Monday since none were in the office at the moment.
