Juniper Question ????

[ Edited ]
Hi Frnds

Happy New Year to All & myFICO

Yesterday DW got a preapproval from JUNIPER with 5k CLI  (mastercard).

scores from myFICO EQ is 662
scores from creditkeeper is :   EX 659  EQ 654  TU 665
but TU's TC FICo : 629

Why TU FICO is different in the above cases ?which one is correct in this?

for these scores can we apply for Juniper master card with 5k CLI?
do they(juniper) pull from 3 CRA's?

DW has a total CL of 3k only so need  to increase the limit...so suggest me

Re: Juniper Question ????

Back in June 06' when I bought my car my avg. score was 512.  Since purchasing the car every CCC on the face of the earth has been sending me offers.  Shortly after getting my car I applied and got a Juniper AirTran CC that gives me miles for dollars.  Anyway it is has 5K CL but is a VISA.  My scores weren't nearly as good as yours.  Ever since my score has gone up more than 100 pts. on avg.

Re: Juniper Question ????

Juniper usually pulls Transunion.

And if TC is Truecredit then it's not a FICO.

Re: Juniper Question ????

Hi EddieX
Thank you

Are TC & FICO scores different?
So scores which v get from CRAs(EX,EQ,TU) are not FICO scores?

Re: Juniper Question ????

I received an AirTran app. in the mail and since I often fly them for work it was a good fit for me.  Maybe if you go on their website they will give you different options to choose from as far as the cards that they offer.

Re: Juniper Question ????

Unless they offer scores that are stamped with the FICO seal then they are just FAKO's.  I only pull my scores using myFICO since I learned there was a difference.

Re: Juniper Question ????

Hi durhc

I received "platinum mastercard"  with 8.99% APR offer from them.
It may not be a specific card like airtran....

thank you durhc

Re: Juniper Question ????

That's a great APR! They started me out a 11.99% and after 6 month ask for a lower APR.  They said I didn't qualify yet but they did give me a CLI of $500.  That reminds me to try and get it lowered again.
