Re: Just Applied for CSP!

It is an awesome card. I initially got approved for $5k but later on reconned to $10k. I bought an IPad with the $400 reward. Now my rewards are back up to almost $200 and I just got an email telling me I got $37 on the 7% dividend from last year. I'd definitely get more reward but I've been dividing usage between the Freedom as well. That card is at $387 so far. Haven't cashed it out yet. So if my math is right, I already made $1021 from Chase in less than a year of having the cards.

Going to be spending $8,000 in tickets for my family.

I thought I would get 2% cash back if I used my CSP and booked through an agent?

Also my brother in law has the CSP and we looked at the Ultimate Rewards mall for booking through that site via his CSP account, and there's a difference of $230 per ticket. The agent I'm going through I always buy tickets through so he gives me a very good discount. :smileyhappy:

CONGRATS on your approval!

For future reference and for others as well, booking through UR will get you a 20% discount; the prices for travel are very competitive.  I've been looking at travel to New Zealand and booking through Chase is definitely something I'm looking in to.  AND with the CSP card, their concierge service will assist in trip planning.
