I have a platinum MC with them, too. I've had for about two years. Started at 3200, now CL is up to 8K. They have been fine with me, and I use the card for paying recurring charges. Sometimes it reports as household bank, though...not sure why.
Whoa nice score!
Thanks.
Ron.
HSBC acquired Household Bank a couple of years ago.

Curiosity, what are the perks on this card? Since you have such a nice score, you can practically be approved for most major rewards card. Why HSBC?
It is tough to get.

The system told I was pre-qualifed for HSBC Platinum Mastercard with Cash or Fly rewards. Then I continued to click another submit button. It came back with the following message:
Congratulations! Your application has been approved. You have been approved with a credit limit of $ 6500.
It didn't tell me what the APR I'm going to get.

Wow. Congrats.
I thought HSBC stopped giving out their standard cards? When you go to their website, it does have an application there...
You cannot apply for the card unless you're a customer of HSBC. I was able to apply for the card because I got the online savings and checking with HSBC.
