I tend to randomly and frequently ask for them to convert, CLI, lower APR....anything...through the chat on capitalone.com
This time it actually worked! They agreeded to convert the Platinum Mastercard to the Quicksilver...I already had 1.5% rewards added months ago by the EO but they wouldnt convert at the time...pretty weird as the only real difference between the Platinum and the Quicksilver is that...but whatever.
I have a Platinum Visa with them too and they wouldnt convert that one...but they did agree to lower the APR on this one for 7 months...so...yippie, i guess? Dont carry any balance on these cards so oh well...
