Hey guys was just approved Discover More. After recieving three pre-approval letters within a month, and a lack of better judgement I decided to apply.
I started my credit card journey just three months ago. I was approved for a $500 card through local CU, and a Zync with $500 limit w/ autopay in May. My actual credit score is much lower than that now, but I haven't run a report since I was denied for a BCE in May at the same time I applied for Zync. The experian score I recieved was about 689 I think?
My question now is what do I do. Do I call up Discover now, and see what CL I was approved for, and try to get more? Or wait?
Should I try to apply for more cards? Or wait?
The card I really want is the Freedom, but didn't apply because I felt I had a better chance with Discover and I wanted to wait for $300 offer. You may consider my decision poor becuase I have a Chase Checking account... Maybe apply for Freedom as well? Can I finagle the $300 offer?
Check your application status at Discover website. It will tell you CL.

Thank you!!! I'm so happy right now.
I wonder if I should apply for another card? I won't be applying for a loan or mortgage in the next few months...
I'm 22, make $50k, pay $100/month (lol yes I still live at home and proud of it) in rent btw.
wow.. Thats awesome cli.. Congratulations...

Wonder if I can get this card changed to the Discover IT?
Kind of worried about calling up because I don't want them to lower my CL LOL...
