My wife and I just closed our Credit One over the phone. We didn't have any problems.
Congrats!

Goodbye credit one!
Congrats! I'm paying them off and closing them once I can!

I'm right behind you. I'll be right behind you in closing my Credit One account in the next few days. Funny I just received an email from them about 1percent gas rewards. HA! They eat that up in fees.
Yeah...just posted a thread about that..
The thing about these guys is that they aren't even a good sock drawer card because of their monthly fees. I owe them a small balance and intend to keep them for the remainder of my gardening period, but I really want to be done with them. They just seem like a headache, even for a subprime. I get that they have to make up for likely higher than average losses, but they really get you coming and going. Definitely not a fan of these guys.

I'd recommend Merrick Bank as a rebuilder 1000x over Credit One. Credit One's motto should be "Well, at least we're not First Premier"
