Just curious about the % of you that used the Amex pre-screen

Well after trying once a month using the amex pre-screen web site all of 2009 I never received an offer so I checked  today and got offered the gold and the green preferred rewards charge cards how many of you who have used this and applied have been approved with me finally getting a offer I still am not going to apply don't need any more credit getting ready to deploy soon while I am gone hope most of my inq will fall off just wondered about the approval rate . Since most of the databases out there are not kept up to date at all thanks.

Hi, multiple times tried the pre-select site and it was a no go, then one day I tried again and offers came up for a green or gold charge card, applied for the green card and was approved and shocked because my EX report is not completely clean from derogs although I recieved the green card in November of 2009 and December upgraded to the gold card.  So good luck if you go for it.

I have tried on several occasions...never approved for anything...     I wonder...will the pre-screen work if I have opted out?  I think this would, since it was initiated by me.

I've tried the pre-screen website several times myself and have never received an offer.  I'm not quite ready to apply. Just curious if my credit passes the pre-screen point yet.
