I just got off the phone with FP to close my card and i was surprised that they did try to keep me and i use the word try loosly. They offered an increase to $450 or no monthly fees, one or the other but not both. While i still feel that i am rebuilding i feel that i no longer have a need for them anymore and with the joke limit and monthly fees their day had come. I was with them for about 3 years and just never got around to closing them, i did not have issues with them outside of their low limits and fees all aorund, then again i never really used the card either.
Congrats. Looks like that Orchard might be next in line.

Yes that one is along with credit one but they dont charge me monthly and i still have six months to go before the annual fee hits so i am inclined to keep them around a bit longer until i get one more real credit card to replace them with.
If I had to pick between FP and CreditOne I'd have chosen the latter. No grace period!
Didn't even see the CreditOne. That one should be next.

I actually got approved for both a few weeks ago and as soon as I got the green light from Barclays I axed the CreditOne, I just refuse to be charged interest if I pay on time.
yeah it is a bit weird that there is no grace period but i dont use the card anymore anyways
When I try to do pre-qual for Credit one, I get declined so I opted for 2 secured cards for now.
