@koalablue wrote:I swore I was done after my Penfed and local credit union low interest visas, but decided I needed a card with a 0% intro interest rate - my Discover 0% runs out in March. My job situation is a bit precarious so I thought it better to apply while I could. At any rate, applied for Citi Simplicity and got denied. Then got a mailer from BofA (I've gotten a bunch of these) saying I was preselected for their Cash Rewards card, so I took a chance and applied. Its no interest for the first 15 statement periods. Approved with 10,000 limit. Now I'm really done.
Nice starting limit congrats
Congrats! And Citi denied me too. Oh well, I still have one of their crappy cards (Diamond Preferred) around.
Thanks everybody! BofA is already reporting the card to the various credit agencies, and I don't even have it yet.

Wow. Congrats!
What's your credit profile if you don't mind me asking?
Sure - they pulled Experian. Score was probably 720 to 730 when they pulled. 7 inquiries in past year. 80,000 income. Only baddie was one 30 day late from April 2011. Highest credit limit on any of my cards is 23500 on Wells Fargo Visa.

I was given the 30 day message (may have been a 7-10) from U.S. Bank after I got a $25K CL from NFCU. I know NFCU is overly generous, but I figured I would get SOMETHING from US Bank
