KD and old accounts

Hi all,

Does anyone know what KD stands for on the credit report?

Also, I've recently been in contact with previous creditors and noticed that there was a gap in history until I contacted them. If they updated my reported with a recent KD or other indicator could this negatively affect me?

Key Derogatory is the meaning. Yes, it has a negative impact on your report.
