So I hear they are pretty easy to get. As soon as this dispute updates and judgment is removed, I was considering apping for one.
I was just wondering why peoples limits vary so much. Is it income based? Some people with the same score have thousand dollar differences in their limits.
Or is it relative to the other cards they have at the moment?
P.S. Im very new to this lol
I will apply in the store for sure if that helps, and I will have the money to buy the ring incase I get declined, but I would like to have a card with atleast 1k limit reporting and just garden for a bit. what were your scores if you dont mind me asking, and were your other CCs you had around the same limit?
Im just curious that if my card limits are $500 they will only approve me $500 even with scores in the 660s and up.
I got my Kay Jewelers card in 2009 while I was rebuilding my credit from a bankruptcy in 2005. I applied in the store when I bought a necklace. I was approved for around $3000 and I would make a purchase under $500 every 6 months to keep it active. In 2011, I had an auto CLI to $7800. But, yes, you will need to have an income to put on the application. In 2009, my income was under $25,000.
my income is 30k per year, so Im ok with having income. I just didnt know if people were having scores around mid 600 and getting low limits because my other 2 CCs only have a 500 limit. Thats all
Im proposing Oct. 5th with or without the card, but Im hoping EQ and my util updates before then so I can go in and get the card. It would be nice to get any limit over 500 for once!
my credit score was in the really low 600's on my EQ when they approved me for $1500 back in june..... I was hoping it would've more but I'm not complaining since I am
rebuilding....
