Re: Kay Jewelers Card

honestly, I dont know... I thought they were avid EQ pullers from the research, and that was my lowest score, but I didnt get a SW alert or CK alert so maybe EX? EX is my highest score, was 640 with 96% util, so I have no clue what it was at time of pull.

Maybe the alert wont show up for a couple of days, but both EQ and TU havent reported an inquiry.

Re: Kay Jewelers Card: UPDATE!!!!!!!!

I wasn't approve either and actually was able to speak to an analyst. They consider all debt including school loans and want to see atleast 6-12 months of re-establishment of credit. Seems like the analyst are more particular then the computer lol

Re: Kay Jewelers Card: UPDATE!!!!!!!!

Well, I just wanted to catch everyone up. My kays card has been great so far. should be paid off before the end of year.

I proposed to my gf on our 2 year anniversary (oct. 5th) and she said yes :smileyhappy: getting married march 16th at Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, AR.

I know some people asked that I let them know how it went, so I wanted to come back and let everyone know how it went. Thanks again for all of the support, she LOVES her ring!

Re: Kay Jewelers Card: UPDATE!!!!!!!!

I got a Kay's card in 12/08.  I was in the early stages of rebuilding  back then, but my EQ had reached 700.  I had a store card from Sam's club with a good CL and a Sam's Discover.  Kay's gave me $6750 on a 2K purchase.  I paid that off on a one year no interest, then I got a nice watch.  Paid that off in 6 months no interest.  A year later they closed my acct. for non-use.  I called but they would not open again without another hard pull. They are now reporting my CL as Highest CL of 2K, no mention of my $6750 limit I had.

Starting Score: 500's

yes, when I applied initially they told me I was approved with a limit of 4100. I put 2k on the ring and financed another 2k. Then when I get my report, it says my limit is only 3k. So far so good though. I hear to keep it active you have to make purchases once every six months or so. which will be fine with me, I have a family full of women haha birthdays and holidays will take care of that.
