Just got a $5100 CL on scores around 590 with a 2 year old dismissed BK.  I'm hoping the Util will help bump me up - I love this forum - thanks everyone!

Congrats I received the same limit last may. They just auto CLI to 7600 after my account turned a year old.

Business BK withdrawn in 2008 - Settled business tradelines instead, (so I get have the double hit of BK & COs).  I have those 5 large COs within the last 12mos - other than that, no lates

WOW......Congrats with a 590 score.. Was the BK the only thing on your report that wasdragging your score down?

Did you apply to make a purchase or just apply to get a new TL???

Do they require a purchase for approval or does applying to pay for a purchase have any bearing at all on their approval??

Did you apply in the store or on line?

After reading this thread I applied on 06-17 and was approved for a CL of $5100. The pulled my EQ which was at 642 last time I checked a month and half ago.

I applied online and only got an $800 limit.  How often do they give CLI?

Wow!  I don't want to risk applying only to receive such a low CL.  Maybe these other posters applied in-store and/or for a purchase and thus received higher limits.

Any of you that got these high CLs... could you please advise the following:

1) method of apping   2) score and baddies   3) utilization     4) Income (as shown on app)

etc that may have influenced the CL decision
