I got a Kay's Jewelry card to take advantage of a free financing for 12 month deal-

So I no have an even 10 cards and this will be the only store card I have had on my CR since I had a Kay's card about 12 years ago.

BTW- the did a soft on EX and a hard on EQ.

The Standard APR is outrageous - 22%+

But I got 12 months at 0%.

I honestly didn't even consider a company would do a hard on one CRA and a soft on another...it makes sense but it's a little overkill.  I know why they do it but just for purposes of applying for a card or increasing a limit, one should be sufficient.  Pick and choose.  It's oranges and apples for the most part.

I agree but it is a common practice with some CCCs.
