Killed my orchard today 4 yrs later

Called and cancelled my orchard before they charge a 59 dollar annual fee again
It's sad that the credit line is low and the card sucks with a 59 dollar fee
Bye bye I'll keep my 10k visa no annual fee

Congrats on being able to do that.  It always feels so good to be rid of the rebuilders.

Good move, it will stay on your reports for 10 more years as a positive account for free.

If they would of budged on the annual fee I would of still sock drawered it but they didn't even do that much.

Why did you keep it for 4 years with a 59 AF?

+1. I'm on my second year with Orchard and *that* is even too long. Closing mine in a few months.

Re: Killed my orchard today 4 yrs later

My Orchard annual fee is due in June and I will definitely be canceling before then.. It was a long road back but I finally have the credit for Prime cards once again. Orchard served their purpose for me,they gave me a card when nobody else would but it's time to rid myself of their low limits and high AF's...

Congratulations!  I'm going to get rid of my Orchard Bank card next week, since the AF is due in March.  Orchard Bank is a good card for rebuilding, but once you've made it back from the wilderness, it's time to bid it goodbye and good luck.

I don't know I was just keeping it in hopes of getting rid of the 59 dollar fee and then it would be my oldest card but oh well
