I wanted to know if anyone has been successful in having derogatory late payment information removed from their credit report. In 2006 I was working 70 hours per week trying to save money and two months in a row I paid late because of too much work and health problems. The rest of my credit report is really good. The credit card is with Chevy Chase Bank. Since then my payment history is excellent. Has anyone ever succeeded in getting a bank or other creditor to take off a derogatory mark from your credit report?
