So I called in to close my account but the office was closed. So for kicks, I wanted to see if they would try and charge me for a CLI or how much they would give me.
"Thank you for your interest in a CLI with Credit One Bank, your request has been DENIED!" 'Scuse me?
Monday their head is gonna be hitting the curb SO HARD. LOL
I tried prequal with them on their site and am apparently blacklisted. (5yo C/O)

I tried few months ago i got denied and got 770 fico score from them ::-)
Your credit is too good for them. LOL!
I still get apps from them even though I have all the prime cards. I just laugh because I would not have even gone with them the day after my BK.
Credit One is Credit Dumb IMO. Last time I checked, I was still prequalified for their cards. Ugh.
They're offering free credit scores every month and a whopping 1% cashback on gas. How could I say no?
Erm.. their pre-app letter... somebody dropped it in the shredder !

Oh in my last round of being opted in, I used to get the same. I'm pretty sure it's still the same offer, but in a much nicer packaging. I was surprised to see all the fine finish, the font color and all. They even allowed change of card image for a fee (why not? marginal utility etc.)
I feel sorry for them. By now, they'd have spent at least $10 over all those pre-app mailers they sent me, and I gave them nothing back. The least I could do is to come and say in this forum how great their packaging looks like
About the awesome credit part, I wish I were one of those members who could boldly pull the trigger on the Credit One pre-app site, got their awesome 750+ scores, and were proud to be denied credit by them. One day...
Don't you worry about poor old Credit One. They make all their money off of fees and APR. LOL
