Life after Amex zync approval

Since the zync kind of represents "getting in the door" with AMEX for people like me who's trying to rebuild credit profile. I'd like to know if anybody who has received and used the zync responsibly Getting more offers, pre approvals, and ease of approvals from other lenders?

Garden with that Zync for a year, and you might be surprised what Amex will do for you, provided everything else is in check as well.

I'm interested to see how this goes for me as well. I'm thinking gardening this and all of my accounts for a year will get me the BCE.

It's unlikely things change beyond the transient "Primeville" feeling.

Re: Life after Amex zync approval

I'm sure using zync responsibly will have a positive impact with Amex, but with Amex being difficult to get comparing to other lenders, will other follow suit once they see that Amex holder has a good paying history?

I think if your files are good with low INQ's other creditors should start seeing the light with you!

Re: Life after Amex zync approval

I think the real benefit to getting your foot in the door with Amex is the SPs for denials. This allows you to apply for revolvers while fixing various aspects of your credit without having to worry about the INQs. If you garden well, you should eventually be approved. But I don't believe the whole "getting your foot in th door" is a cogent argument. If you get a Zync with a 620 FICO, they're not going to approve your for a revolver a few years later unless your CR has drastically improved.

But it is.  You said so in your first sentence.
