Likelihood of AMEX or Disc with 120 day lates on student loans?

Wow! Okay, so first - I admit to cheating on the garden club.  I had a nagging urge to go for it.

I took a chance at the AMEX Zync and was instantly approved a few minutes ago !   No hard limit. I am pleasantly surprised. Hopefully this relationship can give me the edge i need for the Delta Sky Miles in the future.

Now I am really in the garden, with gloves and a spade.

EX FAKO was 721 at app time

EX has 120 day late student loans from 07 with Sallie Mae

Other CC reporting were BOA (1K) and new JCP (1.6K)

Will AMEX backdate my ZYNC to 2008 when I had a corporate card as an employee with my old job?

I'm not sure if they can do that, you can always ask the CSRs...  I know the business cards are viewed totally seperate from the regular personal cards.

I was approved for a discover more card 1700 cl and i have a paid collection, unpaid charge off both from 2006. also some late payments too. i have no derogs for the past about 4 yrs or so. just figured i would put my experience out there.

I would say as long as your history after the lates was perfect I think they should be old enough to get in with AMEX or Discover.
