Applied for Alliant membership and got approved but not for LOC, they have a very low EQ score which was weird... only got one hard pull.....
then decided to apply for LOC on my local credit union that I've been a member for 13 years and got approved for 5k (what I asked for) 9% interest and also they wanted me to transfer my auto loan from chase to them with 2.79% rate compared to 3.89% from chase.... got the car last feb. ... anyway, I feel like Alliant was not as easy as I thought..... my UTIL is 40-45%.. lots and lots of inquiries of course lol.... my AAoA went down from 3 years to 1.9 years now...so many new accounts this year and last..... i think about 13 new tradelines.... oh well, just sharing... =)

Perhaps your established relationship helped with your approval.
Tbh, high util and inqs would be a tough sell on a lower AAOA.
Congratulations on your approvals!
Thanks Lexie! Ill be using the LOC to pay my cards hopefully get my util down to 20% by december.... my main goal right is slashed my debt under 10k .... from 1 card to 13+ new cards in a year and a half hurt my AAoA
