Your Amex has the potential to grow 3-times its current limit when you request that CLI after the first 62 days beyond activation.

Congratulations on your most successful app spree! Smiley Happy

25k miles after first purchase. I didn't really go looking for a better deal or even think about waiting. Prob not a smart move on my part.

So we can apply for 2 AMEX cards at the same time? A charge and a revolver I'm guessing?

In my case it worked.  Not sure how typical that is.  FWIW - I applied for the Delta Sky Miles card first and received the message about needing more time to consider the application.  Assuming this was a denial, I quickly followed that app with the Zync app and got immediate approval.  Two days later I got an email approving the Delta card.

Re: Long road ending with a successful app spree....

The Gold Delta Skymiles card is a revolving credit card as opposed to the Zync which is a charge card that has to be paid off in full every month....or apparently they send someone to my house with a club??  I've never had a charge card before and probably won't use it much, if at all, it was really just a backup plan to try to get in Amex's good graces.
