Re: Looking for a Credit Card for Older Sister

OP I think you're going to catch a lot of flack for listing household income in the 140K range when in fact it is not your sisters income. Be very mindful of FR which could or would be triggered with applications stating that type of income with out documentation to prove it. Like most people say pull the three bureau reports for the nominal 60 dollar fee. Use said reports to apply strategically ie focusing on which credit pulls which bureau. But the venture might be a good option.

Re: Looking for a Credit Card for Older Sister

I am with CreditCuriousity here. If she is getting declined for VS, there are likely some issues that she may not even be aware of. She should pull her scores and see what is going on there. I am hard-pressed to believe a VS decline with her income and the score range that you gave. Like CreditCuriousity said, blinding applying for things that she may not qualify for will only hurt her.

Also what is just HER income?  Lets just pretend you can't use parents or your income..  Also does she have say $50k in the bank or is that your parents money?

Bottom line if she can't get a VS credit card, her credit is most likely very bad and that needs to be addressed first and foremost.  Back to point of pulling the 3 reports and going from there if you would like help

Her gross income is rougly $23,500

Her assets are in the range of $25,000 - $30,000

Thanks for the update. That helps give a better picture. Is she willing to pull her actual FICO scores? That would be super helpful in answering your original question.
