What Amex card are you app'ing?
You may already to privy to this already, but there's a Delta Promo with a 45K sign-up bonus, which is more than the public offer.
Open123 sigh you've been so good to me. I was wondering if there was an additional offer that is not public. How can I access this offer? Hopefully it will not expire before tomorrow.
PS are you savvy to how the bonus miles work? For instance if I open the card and purchase a ticket with Delta within a few days, can I retroactively apply the bonus miles to my balance statement?

Sorry I missed this, I'm applying for the Delta Amex.

No, you need to have the miles in your FF account before making redemptions. Unlike a travel credits card (like the Barclay Arrival), they can't be applied retroactively.
Do get the 45K Delta promo, go to "creditcards dot com," and on the top left margin, click "Offers Matched for You." Enter your name, address, but *NOT* your social. For the social, just enter "111-11-1111." A screen will pop up with some "exclusive" Amex offers, amongst which the Delta 45K sign up will be one of them.
Good luck!
PS - creditcards dot com - mispelled originally, but I suspect an aspiring litigator would easily have known what I had meant to type.
