I thought, in this case for example, the OP Zync's opening date would stay the same and be in September 2012 while every other card applied for in the future will be the month of the application but with the year of 2012. Therefore by waiting to apply for the card in January instead of this month, the card would say it was actually opened January 2012 (instead of October 2012) and give you an extra 9 months on that specific card (not the Amex cards applied beforehand).

sorry for the misinterpretation. 

i meant all cards he now applys for would be backdated. not the ones he already has. 

but as op posted he does not care about his aaoa.

I go in spurts. Hit a few apps this year, and it won't happen again until I see another "sparkly" down the road.

I also got my Zync last month and still not reporting ...... Smiley Frustrated ... I wonder how much longer I need to wait for it to report

usually reports a few days after the statement closes. 

 

i got mine sep 5th (apped aug 30th) statement close was the 28th and was on ck around the 6th

my statement closed sept 24th and still not on my report... maybe the second statement.... I just wanna apply for freedom and I was thinkin maybe I'll have a better shot if AMEX is on my report....
