Been gardening for a bit, but had read some of the past entries here regarding the JP Morgan Select Visa. I was particularly intrigued by the no TL status as well as no ForEx and the chip technology for use abroad, since I plan to do some international travel early next year. So....pulled the trigger and BINGO! Approval! Got an immediate $5000 CL, was hoping for more, but also have CSP with $10K, so figured I wouldn't get greedy, by the time I'm ready to travel next year, I can request a CLI. LOVING me some Chase !
Nice! Congrats!
I'm jelly, bro.
Nice! I can't wait until I"m mid 700's.
Congrats,
its on my wish list of future cards to get. I like the primary auto rental insurance coverage.
I love this card for three reasons: (1) The hidden t/l aspect, (2) The primary insurance aspect (Amex was too expensive), and (3) The ability to transfer points earned on it to either my Chase Freedom or SP...Congrats! Great choice....
Congrats on the Select! Chase has been really good to me as well, never had a problem with them.
I know this thread is mildly old but I'm curious... Are you a JP Morgan Private Bank member? Or just a regular Chase customer? I was under the impression you had to be a private bank member to obtain this card aside from income/credit requirements.

Back when this thead was started I believe the JP Morgan Select card still had an online application form. They have since taken it down and I think you have to apply via your branch or banker.
Congrats! Good deal!
