Haven't actually announced this to anybody on here before but I actually work full-time @ Lowe's in Customer Service and have processed hundreds of credit applications over the 2 years that I've been working there. If anybody has any specific questions to ask regarding the Lowe's Credit Cards; personal or business cards, don't hesistate to ask! Here for you guys, definitely feel like I know all the in's and out's of the card since I deal with them every single day.
Mr. Buzzsaw, can you PM me? Sorry I did not see this ealier before I posted a question about applying for credit.

If he can give us a calendar of when lowes drops the minimum amount for 12 month and 18 month financing from a thousand bucks to 249 that would be awesome though!
+1

MrBuzzsaw, Can you explain what triggered the blue envelope for my Lowes account?
Well, I think maybe the two most common questions you could help us all with are:
1. Recons on app denials.
For the most part, it seems many people call in and hear that denials cannot be overturned. Is this true? Do you guys allow people to state their case to get denials turned into approvals?
2. Saving us all hard pulls.
What is your post-bankruptcy policy (when to apply, etc.)? Do you guys blacklist? Any particular score your system looks for (since, again, I'm assuming underwriting is done automatically via software).
I believe those two questions would really help us all out.

Thanks for the information MrBuzzsaw!
I think a lot of people are getting ahead of themselves before the OP clarifies more. If he works for Lowes as indicated he may have some insight to the process of applying for their cards but its not likely he knows the inner workings of Sychrony and cetainly wouldnt have insight to the 'blue envelope' occurrences. Lowes does not equal Synchrony and we need to remember that.
Have you ever seen a prequal while someone was checking out?
Meaning do they look at people that are shopping there and say you are prequalified for the credit card.
Sams Club does this, I think Walmart used to but doesn't anymore.
Have you seen people get the credit card without a Hard Pull?
I guess these questions will be void if you can't see the synchrony side?
