Citi has been AMAZING to me for APR reductions started at 21.99 and in a course of three months (after 6months of having the card) lowered from 21.99 to 17.99 to 14.24 to 13.24 on my AA card. my CU lowered from 14.24 to 10.24
Discover from 19.99 to 18.24 1 year history
BOFA 20.24 to 18.99 1.5 year history.
uhh thats it. Chase and Barclay refuse to budge

THANKS!!
BoA: 19.99% to 12.99% - Cash Rewards
BoA: 18.99 to 11.99% - Better Balance Rewards
AMEX: 17.99% to 14.99% - Blue Cash Everyday
Discover: 18.99% to 17.24% - Discover It
Citi: 17.99% to 15.99% - Double Cash (Was Dividend previously)
I'm already at the lowest APRs offered by Barclaycard (13.99% on Sallie, 8% on Ring).
When asking BOA for a APR reduction, is it thru CSR or backdoor?
I called the Backdoor number. I don't know if it mattered to the credit analyst, but I did move around $20,000 to their brokerage (Merrill Edge) after opening my credit cards with them, making me eligible for Preferred Rewards. I think this might have helped them decide to lower my APRs on their cards.

Barclays 22.99 to 21.99 after a year and a half and asking them.
Discover 22.99. Called last week and they said no but offered me a 0% intro promo for 12 months.
Amex (was just approved) and was given a 17.99 APR.
How long did you have discover before you tried to lower your apr? and who did u call?

I asked by chat at around 9 months and they told me to wait for the card to be 1 year old. I tried at 1 year mark and was able to lower my APR from 22.99% to 19.24% by using the chat.
Other people get 0% offer for 12 months.
Called BOA today and got my 21.74% on my Cash Rewards card reduced to 12.99%. Never occurred to me to do it.
Discover has both increased and lowered my APR, at various times...the progression goes as follows:
5.24% V -> 9.99% V -> 12.24% V -> 9.99% V
Also received a reduction on my FNBO Maximum Rewards card:
11.24% V -> 10.9% V,
Not much luck on negotiating any lower APRs on any of my other, currently-open cards as far as I can remember though, I am sad to say.
