I would call credit solutions and they will counter... Id ask for $20k and tell them you are interested in another big project!!

My next statement will be the fourth. I'm interested in requesting a CLI at that time, as hubby works there and there are better employee discounts in December, as well as long term 0%.
I currently have 7500 limit and right about 5k balance. 4k is on the 84 month 5.99% deal for a large home project. (We are doing pretty big renos on our fixer upper home) The rest is on 18 month 0%.I'm making more than minimum payments but obviously in no huge hurry to pay off due to the financing deals.
Will they do a cli with the large balance since it's on a long term rate?
Also, will ge counter offer if I ask for a larger cli than they will do?
Probably looking at no more than another 1k in purchases. Was thinking of asking for 12-15k total.
Overall util is around 30%, with half of that being this card.
If you call ask for Moore and they may counter offer, but either way it's a soft pull!
Good Luck
I can only give you my personal experience on this, otherwise this isn't advice.
You pretty much asked if you can/will get a CLI with a "high" balance.
By my fourth Lowe's statement I had a balance of $834 on a $1,000 limit - they gave me an auto increase of $800 - for a limit of $1,800.00.
Keep in mind I used the card heavily within that four statement period, paying off balances and charging, etc. So my experience with them was I was practically maxed out on my card (using 834 out of 1,000) and they still gave me an auto increase of almost 100% of original credit limit.
So I guess it's POSSIBLE you can get a large CLI despite the high balance.
