Just thought I'd tell everyone my experience today.
We're looking to buy some appliances in the next month or so (likely black friday)
We just purchased a home 2 months ago
I applied online for the Lowe's card, was approved for a cl of $1500.
I called the "back door #" (i don't think this is really a backdoor #), went through the automated system and asked for an increase of $5,000 and was denied and told they would send me a letter. I called right back and asked to speak with a rep.
Rep basically just asked how much I wanted, I said $5k, they countered with $3k.
Should be good enough!
My husband will likely apply for the Home Depot card in case we find better deals there.
