My wife has Lowes. Opened 6/2008. Within two years, went from $2K starting CL to $4K to $5K to $10K. All requested via website and all soft pulls. I requested CLI two more times after the last one and was denied. They said $10K was the highest they can go.
I have HD. Opened 7/2010 with $500.00 CL. Requested $1500.00 CLI about 8 months after opening. Granted with a hard pull. I won't ask again. Just curious to see if they give me a auto CLI which I'm not expecting anytime soon as I'm carrying a 0% promotional balance of $1700.00. I'll just keep plugging away at the balance until May, 2013 and see at what point they find in their heart to give me a CLI, if at all.

Citi does not blacklist for store cards for me. I have a CO on CITI visa and they deny me for major card. But 2 approvals for store cards. Home Depot just approved for $7K..

I was approved back in December for a HD card with a 3K CL. At the time I applied I still had an old Citi CO that was paid from years ago. I was able to get them to remove it after I was approved but was still approved for 3K with HD.
GE hates me, so I didn't even attempt Lowes. lol
