Ok I know this starts out bad, but I bought a scratch lotto ticket.  Won 7500.00.  So what to do with the money.  Vacation?  Heck no, I am a member of my Fico.  So here's what I did.

Capone Owed 1876 @ 4.99.  paid 1600, left over balance 276

First Premire Owed 181.96 @ 21.99%. paid 182., now they owe me 00.04

Hooters Owed 2150.49 @ 14.99 paid 1900, left over balance 250.49

Khols Owed 1750.46@ 31.99% paid 1705.50, now they owe me 00.04

Dell Owed 250.00 @ 27.99 paid 250.00, Zero balance

Macy's Owed 149.29 @ 21.99 paid 150.00, they owe me 00.71

Best Buy Owed 211.02 @ 14.99 paid 211.02, Zero balance

Ikea Owed 240.18 @ 21.99 paid 240.99

Wal mart Owed 589.79 @ 14.99 paid 589.79, Zero balance

Target Owed 159.14 @ 21.99 paid 159.14, Zero balance

I have a few bucks left over so I am saving some, and paying my cable bill, cell phone bill.  So in short paid all the high intr4est rates off Now my out standing debt is alittle over 500.00 and that should give me a 4% usage.  I think I did pretty good. 

My old fico scores  Eq 470 2005: TU 521 2005,  Ex 480 2005

New as of tonight when I checked Eq 740 12/11/10; TU 753 12/11/10;  Ex 743 12/11/10

Way to go!!  I wish I would win money like that!  I can't believe your Kohls credit card has that high of a credit limit.  Mine is only $1k.  Why is your interest rate at 31.99%? I hope they don't raise mine that high.

Nothing wrong with a lotto ticket here and there, heck God only knows I lost more in the stock market then in the lotto. I rarely have cash, but when I do it's for some sort of lotto. Most of the time for me it pays off! But you did right in paying off debt, I am sure that saves a car payment a month...

Side note: I hope everyone bought F at $2 a share, I did wish I bought more...

Lucky you! Just have a question, is there a reason why you paid more than the balance on some cards?

Yes good question.  Some I went into the store and was able to pay the exact amount.  The ones that I over paid by a few cents, is because my bill pay does not let me use cents unless they are 00.00, 00.25,  00.50, or 00.75.  I know that is werid, but It is a small town local credit union and I say it is nice for them to owe me once and a while.
