Luv button ---> Credit Steps

So my 5th statement is about to cut in 7 days. I've read several people hit the luv button on the 5th statement and then got followed up with the credit steps increase. Anyone who's done that can you tell me how the increases where for each one?

I'm debating just seeing what the credit steps increase is and if it isn't high enough to meet my monthly spending hitting the luv button.

Re: Luv button ---> Credit Steps

    The amount in the e-mail or the document that's online is what you are guaranteed to get with credit steps. No less than that BUT you may get more depending on various factors throughout the months that your card was enrolled in Credit Steps. If you haven't yet tried to get a CLI on your cards I would go ahead and go for it before your credit steps is up that way you get two bumps. If you get a successful CLI bump; you'll also get another bump when you graduate from credit steps. Good luck! I'm about to pull the trigger at the end of the month after 3 statements with both my cards to get the CLI. It seems $300 starting limits go to $800 and $500 starting limits go to $1500; not sure about higher starting limits.

Re: Luv button ---> Credit Steps

My buddy who got his card 2 months before me and has no clue about any of this had a $300 limit and after his credit steps he got a increase to $3200. And the only thing he puts on his card is a cable bill, spotify, and the WWE network.

I'm hoping to get at least that. I ran into a situation where I had to leave a balance but I'll have it under 30% or paid off before the statement cuts.

Re: Luv button ---> Credit Steps

I have two cards opened within the same week. First one went from $300 to $3300 no cli via luv button bc I didn't  know about it. Second one I hit luv button 2.5 weeks before statement close and accepted $500 cli. After statement close I got an additional $500 so total $1300 with sl of $300.

Re: Luv button ---> Credit Steps

If you try after your 5th statement, there's no harm... and you'll still get your credit steps bump. I'd give it a shot! No downside, only upside.

Re: Luv button ---> Credit Steps

I'll think about it. Need to make a payment first. Maybe I'll do it before it cuts. If I go through the luv button does it give me an option to accept or decline? And if I decline would I be able to press it again later?
