a 620 should get it. but for best results apply in store if your file clean you should be in 700s then you can get the macys amex. but only in store can you apply.

You could probably get in the door with ~600 on EX. Applying in-store is better, as they can verify ID that way. With a score ~700, you'd probably get the AMEX. I was able to upgrade to AMEX when my score was ~680.
Apply in store. It doesn't take much. I was approved for this card when I was 18 lol
You can look to the credit pulls and who gave me credit databases to see what scores people get approved for cards at. Good luck
I had an EX score in the 700s and still do and was able to get both Macys and Macys Amex. Applied online but called them and asked for the upgrade and the one day the Amex version showed up on my login page.

I had
tu 605
ex 614
eq 637
And was given 300 which was turned into 600 upon verification!
Hope this helps!
...and this was just this past weekend!
Are there any benefits for getting the AMEX instead of the regular card? I took a look at both and they look the same apart from using different networks.

The Amex version would be better as you could use it anywhere Amex is accepted. Having bankcards reporting are always superior to store only cards.
