After the long hard battle back up the credit hill, I have finally gotten back in with AMEX. When I received my new cards in the mail yesterday they had 2014 as the MSD. I knew that I had a card in the very distant past but could even remember when it was. Visited with a CSR via chat yesterday and asked her if she could look into my MSD date. This morning I logged onto my account and noticed my MSD had been updated to ........... 1980!!!!! 34 years of backdating. I don't guess those 2 accounts will hurt my AAoA much. Thanks for all of the help from everyone on this forum. I would have never known about the backdating without what I have learned here.
Glad they worked it out for you. Definitely a boost to the AAoA!
Quite the boost to AAoA!

Very nice! Congrats on backdate!
I think the chat feature is the best way to "correct" one's MSD. That's how I got my 1998 MSD. It's a great feature of AMEX (which I learned here, as well!).
Yes, chat is definitely the way to go.
