Macy's American Express CLI APPROVED

Looks like I'm back in good graces with Macy's... CLI Approved from $500 to $2000.  She said call back in 3 months and they could probably go much higher!

Got the Card back in 08 and quickly went from 2k-12k in a years time... then had some financial issues and went on payment plan and card was closed... about 4 months into payment plan got some money that allowed me to just pay it completely off and asked to have it re-opened and they did that with the $500 limit I'm thinking 4 months ago.

Macy's Amex is a whole tradeline of it's own.  you can request for your account to have this but it will be a hard credit pull and it can take 30-60 days to find out if approved... took me 90 days actually, had to keep resubmitting because some how requests get lost a lot.

You would have a credit line on Macys Amex and it does report to credit vs the store card now no longer reports CL.

Re: Macy's American Express CLI APPROVED

Hmmm... Ok thanks for that information.  I don't hardly use the regular card anymore because of how they've changed how they report and the whole might/might not approve you issue at the register.

Do you happen to remember where they pull from?
