Does anybody know if the Macy's American Express card has the same benefits as the regular American Express cards?
As far as what? What special Amex benefits are you after?
It's Amex branded but not actually issued by Amex so whatever the question is, I'd lean towards "no"
Cards that use the AMEX network are eligible for AMEX Offers, if you sync the card through social media. For example, my Macy's AMEX is synced to my Twitter. As for other benefits, these vary from lender to lender. Macy's is backed by DSNB, while Centurion Bank issues the "regular" AMEX cards.
Procedures also vary from lender to lender. For example, nothing in the AMEX 61 day 3X CLI thread would be applicable to the Macy's AMEX.

U do get to take advantage of Amex offers. What U wont be able to do is take advantage of any built-in structural card benefits exclusive to Amex, such as purchase protections, extended warranties, travel insurance, etc. In such case those benefits would come directly from the card issuer (DSNB).
