A few months ago, I discovered that my Macy's Visa had its CL slashed. We'd been "good" about using the Macy's card, but rarely used the Visa part, so I guess this CLD wasn't unexpected. However, we're planning on a little international travel soon, and Macy's has a 1% foreign transaction fee that is much better than our other cards. But the CL was not very useful.
Called today to request a restoration of the old CL. Yes, it resulted in a hard pull, but we got our former CL back. We'll be better about using this card more frequently now!
