Macy's CLI

Logged into my account, went to online chat and asked for a CLI from $2500 to $4500. They countered with a CLI offer of $4400. I gladly accepted with a $100 difference. Not bad for a card that started at $100.

Thats funny that they came back with just $100 difference, rather than just giving it to you. LOL.

i actually called the number on the back of the card and hit 0 until a rep picked up. she called underwriting and talked to them while i was on hold. she asked how much i wanted/needed and said 3.5k being higher then my highest limit and it was granted. all soft pull and inc showed on my next statement about a week later.

Re: Macy's CLI

Congrat's on your CLI!  I was denied a few weeks ago, but they approved me for a Club Account for $1,800.  I would have rather had the $1,800 applied to my regular Macy's account! LOL! But oh well.  Hopefully I will have a better chance of an increase closer to the Holidays.  Hoping they are willing to give some Christmas Cheer! :smileyhappy:

Re: Macy's CLI

Always SP for CLI on store and amex.

I had 2 club accounts and they have said on those that "somtimes" they might pull... but I always got them with just history.

ask high, they counter as we can see here!

and I dont think they are sensitive to INQ once you have the accounts.
