Macy's Special financing approval?

Can anybody tell me, from experience, if the special financing for either Furniture or Jewelry accounts at Macy's are approved with an SP?

Just got Macy's CLI approved to $1000 and we need to get furniture for upcoming baby. Thought maybe Macy's would be good place to get financing since I have a relationship with them already.

I cannot afford an HP for score reason(s) as well as rebuilding.

Any help or advise?

I can only speak for myself, but I got a $2500 credit line for the furniture account last year when my store card was at a $1000 limit. They said they may need to pull my credit report but they didn't. I bought a nice leather chair and paid it off but the furniture account never showed up either on any of my credit reports.

You inspired me to ask for a cli on my revolving account....it stayed at $2000 which they raised me to in January, but they added a major purchase account to my profile with a $2500 limit to go with my special event account which also has a $2500 limit.

That is great that it is an SP with an existing Macy's account.

Did the tradeline report or was it a hidden tradeline?
