Macy's Store gives out "Spending limit" on automated system!!

I just posted on the other thread back from 2008 when they stopped reporting CL's but not sure how long again but you can now call into automated and it will tell you how much you are able to spend currently on the store card.

Based on my current balance and what it said I could spend I still hold the same $10,700 limit I had when they stopped reporting to credit the CL.

Still hope it comes back soon considering I have only a $292 balance from the 65% off with additional 20% they have been running on clothes this week!

Do you have that number, or is it in the list on here?  I would be anxious to know, since i haven't used it very much.

It is just the number on the back of your card.

Thought I would check on my Bloomies and it also now provides a spending limit, but no CL, and is also in the works of implementing the CL on accounts in 2012!

Yep.  Just called myself and along with giving the spending limit the automated operator stated that credit lines will be established in early 2012.
