So I trired to convert my macys store card to the AMEX card, and the gentlemen said they would need to run a credit report, which I thought was normally a SP. He came back and said do you have a security freeze, in which I do on all three account. So I guess I need to take a HP for an upgrade now? He said he can run any of the reports that I don't have a freeze on. TU has my highest fico score according to Walmart and Barclay's, which is 728.
So I thought that creditors could SP through a freeze, and I always thought that Macy's was a SP, and not a HP.
Is it worth me taking the freeze off TU and have them pull that report?
Every other time I requested the upgrade is was denied due to my low fico score on Experian of 695.
Any thoughts.
i wouldn't unfreeze unless you absolutely need to
