yes, he indicated in a interview that he has been writing to the CCCs that he wants the card for the record.
I wonder if he pays AFs to carry any of those cards. And if he have multiple cards with one bank.
My guess is atleast some of those cards had an annual fee and that he does have multiple cards with some banks atleast. I cannot imagine getting nearly 1500 cards all AF free and finding that many Finacial Insitutions to extend credit to him.

Obviously this guy is an oddity, but it brings up a good point: Should banks declined based on total available credit? Does having too much credit available (regardless of credit history) present an unnecessary risk at some point? Seems like 1.7 million would be past that line (if there is such a line)...
