Marriot Rewards card doesnt report to bureaus?

I read somewhere that the marriot rewards card doesnt report? 

Would anyone mind elaborating if this is true and what it means.

You'd have to link the source.  I can't explain the statement since the Marriott card does report.  One can find all sorts of statements both true and untrue out there on the intertubes.  Always consider the source, validate & corroborate.
