Merrick Bank 0% Mailer

I think Merrick Bank was one of my first CC's after my BK. I have not used this card in years. I check my mail today and they are offering 0% through Spet 2017 for purchases and cash advances. If I do not use by Sept 8, 2016, they will cancel my card. Anyone else receive this mailer offer?

It's the first I've heard of a CC issuer actually notifying you that they will close your account if you don't use it... most of us find out the hard way.

Use it or lose it. Your call.

If it were me, and you are paying interest elsewhere, do a small BT and keep it open while paying zero percent. If you're not paying interest elsewhere, go ahead and let it close.

No, But I've been using it lately for a couple small monthly charges to keep it active. Maybe I'll stop using it and see if they send me the offier.
