My history with them is -
Opened - 8/20/12 - $1000. - 7/2013 - $1200. (auto) 10/28/13 - $1600. (auto)
I give the card some use once in awhile. Usually PIF before the statement closed. I ran it up to just over $1500. this Summer. Thought that would help trigger an increase but it didn't. I think I'll use it for some Chirstmas shopping then use it for the next few months to see if that does anything. I'll let the balances report. It really doesn't matter to much but it's my lowest credit line and I'd like it see it increase.

We have a merrick bank card with a $3k limit. I firmly believe the only reason it got that high was from carrying a balance high utilization. Their transunion go score is up to 900 so not fico 08s unfortunately.
You are correct. High utilization and carrying a balance are rewarded at Merrick.

They used to review accounts annually. IIRC, mine was in March or April. Best of luck!
$3,600
I'm going to let a little over $1000. report next month, pay that off so I don't have any interest charges then let a few hundred report each month to see if that triggers an increase.
