Mid- cycle CLI?

Just been wondering...do AUTO credit line increases always happen when a new statement cuts? That has been the case in my own experience, but I see folks mention random CLI quite a bit.

Am I wasting time and energy looking for auto LUV other than when a new statement is issued?

They can occur at any point, mid-cycle or whenever your statement is generated.  It also depends on the timing on when the lender performs any account review (AR).

My experience:

Discover: Mid-cycle (right after generating statement)

Barclays: With statement generation

AMEX: Mid-cycle (actually middle of the cycle)

Chase: Mid-cycle (few days before the statement generation)
