I added 2 authorized users on my Venture card, my Daughter and Son. Well I tried to use my card at the Hotel and was informed it was decline. I checked my Cap1 app and it was a note to call, it's a temporary freeze on my card. So I called and was routed to the fraud protection line, and once chatting with the representative I was told that because I added 2AU on my card that they need verification. I'm like Wow! They want me to send in proof of their DL, SS card, and a bill in their name. I told her no problem but expect my son is 17, and he wouldn't have a bill in his name. So she said send in the rest of the info. And was apologetic said she don't see why there is a problem in her opinion, but this what they stating on the computer. I have 2 other Cap1 accts and they are also AU on those too. Anywhoo I just thought I'd share this.
