I went on a miniature app spree and for once, it was actually fruitful.
I app'ed for the Amazon.com store card and instantly approved for $900, I called GE directly and asked them to increase it! Suprisingly, they did, $1,500.
I called up Chase and requsted a CL on my Freedom. Asked them for an additional 2K, denied. Spoke with an analyst and BAM! Approved, now standing at $6.5K (Third increase in under a year; 2K initial limit, 500 auto, 2K newest request)
Finally, I app'ed for the Discover IT. I have been wanting to get in with Discover for ages and I didn't hold my breath on an approval. Suprisingly, they offered me a counter offer. 3.99% for 6 months than 22.99. Did anyone get a counter offer from Discover? What was the limit? I still don't know mine.

Congrats on the increases! And congrats on Discover!
Did Chase do HP for the Freedom Increase?
Congrats. You did well!
CONGRATS!!! Excellent job, I love hearing things like this. You're going to love Discover!
CONGRATS!!!
I'm also interested in knowing if Chase did a HP for your increase!!!

+1 Especially since Chase recon is notoriously rough on inquiry heavy appliacations. Thats a awesome job!
Congrats!!

This is true, they denied me on my 1st try with them on the freedom because of INQ's.
Haha, thanks everyone. The advice on this forum is amazing.
Also, no notification from MyFICO and Citi Credit Monitoring yet from a Chase HP. I did get a notification for the Discover and Amazon/GE HPs. I am guessing that is a no HP from Chase. Is that unusual?

With Discover, I applied online, the website told me to call in for an instant decision, i did, got the exact same counter offer, and got a $1000 limit.
Chase's inquiry was reported after 2 days with my credit monitoring system.
