Minimum to keep credit card open

I am planning on getting a Walmart Discover credit card for the free monthly credit score. There is no Walmart near me and it only gives 0.25% cash back until more than $1500 is spent. So I am not planning on using it very much, how often do I need to use and how much do I need to spend to prevent it from being closed?

Thanks!

I would just charge a few dollars to it at least once every 3-6 months to keep it active.

Re: Minimum to keep credit card open

You can even go to postal office and buy a stamp with that. 45 cents and you are set for couple months.

The proverbial pack of gum will also serve to show activity.
